Country Swing
Class Details
Country Swing is a fun, energetic partner dance known for its grounded basic, playful turns, and relaxed social feel. This all-level 4-week series is great for beginners learning the foundations as well as more experienced dancers looking to improve timing, connection, and overall movement quality. Across the series, dancers will build core footwork, partner communication, and confidence with turns, transitions, and rhythm. With a focus on strong fundamentals and practical social dance skills, this class helps dancers feel more comfortable, responsive, and creative on the dance floor. Country Swing is structured as a progressive 12-week series divided into three self-contained 4-week modules. Each month explores a new theme and starts from the basics, making it easy for new students to jump in at the beginning of any month while still benefiting from progressive instruction within that module. NOTE: Progressive courses gradually layer new concepts each week and provide time to review and build muscle memory. It’s an effective way to improve as a dancer while becoming more confident, connected, and comfortable in social dancing.
