Zouk Foundations to Flow
This 90-minute workshop is designed to teach you the fundamental flow for Brazilian Zouk that will help improve your dancing ability, whether you are a Bachata dancer, a West Coast swinger, or if you haven't danced that much before.
We’ll begin with core essentials such as the basic timing, feeling, and flow, then build into foundational patterns such as lateral, simple turn, viradhina, and Gostosinho. We’ll also introduce key Zouk concepts including lead/follow communication, elasticity, and frame, helping you create a dance that feels fluid—not forced.
The focus throughout this class will be control, comfort, and musicality, not just memorizing patterns.
After the workshop, stay for a short practica to practice what you’ve learned through the class.
