Elevate - Salsa Level 3
Class Details
This advanced-level class is designed for dancers who are already confident with Salsa On 1 fundamentals and intermediate patterns, and are ready to refine their technique, elevate their musicality, and explore more expressive movement. Each monthly series dives deeper into: - Complex partnerwork with dynamic turns, direction changes, and syncopation - Connection and lead/follow clarity in close and open embrace - Musical interpretation, styling, and flow between phrases Class themes rotate monthly, and instruction builds week by week, so we recommend attending the full series to get the most benefit. Who is this for? Level 3 is best for dancers who are comfortable with Salsa timing, leading/following multiple variations and are ready for more nuance, expression, and challenge.

Notes About Classes At Nexus
- We strongly recommend booking in advance to streamline the check in process. If you drop in, please note you will need to sign the liability waiver so plan to arrive earlier to do that. - All group classes at Nexus SLO are taught progressively each month so we recommend coming for the full series to get the whole experience. - No partner or prior experience is needed unless otherwise noted (such as for intermediate-level classes). We rotate partners often to help everyone learn, but you're welcome to stay with your own partner if preferred. - No special shoes or equipment required—just come ready to move and have fun! Cancellation Policy: Cancellations/rescheduling for pre-paid group lessons must happen at least 24 hrs in advance or you will be charged the full amount. There are no refunds for pre-paid group classes, but if you have an injury or illness that won’t allow you to participate, let us know and we will give you a credit for when you can return.
